This chardonnay is the entry-level wine from Talley Family Winery, a producer making some of the most coveted wines coming out of California's Central Coast. Their wines borrow the best qualities of both modern and traditional winemaking£ beautiful, lush fruit, well-integrated oak influence, and a taut, efficient structure. This wine is made from declassified grapes from some of their loftier vineyards. It offers notes of apples and stones, and a mouthfeel that starts out creamy but is swiftly sliced down the middle by a butter knife of acidity.
